gap year or community college?

I'm in year 13 and international student in the UK. my grades are currently A/B/D/D.
I am aiming for an Ivy League university in the US, but with these grades I will not be applying this year.
So I am wondering if I should go to a community college and get good grades and then transfer, or take a gap year and apply from the first year with my final grades. However, I haven't decided what I want to do yet. I would like to work in the fashion or art field in the future, and I would also like to study international relations.
Which do you think is better for me?

Ivy league, or any top university in the US, isn't only about grades. What co-curriculars/passion project/qualities do you have that you can show admissions officers?
