I've been using arbitio for a while, was averaging 19-22 for a while then my scores got really inconsistent. I got 26 on one, then 18, and now 13. My test is in 1 week. Is this inconsistency normal or am I finished?
I'd say the inconsistency is normal and nothing too major to worry about. There's always been arbitio tests that I've done where I get the odd 25+ or less than 15. Especially since arbitio is harder than the LNAT, getting 19-22 consistently before means your ability should lie there. I'm in the same boat

Yeah arbitio is kind of like that. My highest was 30 and lowest was 15. Definitely dont use it as a marker!
I just sat the LNAT yesterday and the most helpful and similar to the exam was the 'ultimate LNAT guide' textbook. I was getting very consistent scores on there and the difficulty was basically the same if not a tiny bit harder.

I normally average like 4/5 or 5/6 on passages in ultimate LNAT guide so hopefully I'll be alright. I'm aiming for 30s, I think my main problem was indecision which caused me to waste a lot of time, meaning guesswork at the end of the paper, but I'll solve it by my test. What unis you applying to, I'm assuming Oxbridge since you've already done the LNAT.

Yeah don't worry- i was averaging the same near the end of my study. I'm sure that you'll get in the 30s with that sorta score! If you're worrying with indecision, i recommend working on crossing out what you know are the wrong answers. I'd also definitely recommend working on learning and revising different statement types (assertions, facts, opinions and also implicit vs explicit). I'm applying to; Oxford, Bristol, Durham, York and Warick!

Congrats on having done it already! Did you also try arbitio? I started using the Ultimate LNAT Guide and found it too easy in comparison with the official online LNAT test

Thank you! Yes I did try arbitio mainly because i stress easy so I wanted to do something significantly harder so when I went into the test itself I felt less stressed and more comfortable.
The difficulty on arbitio as well is pretty inconsistent- my range was 30 (highest) to 15 (lowest) out of 42.

oh and also i felt that the online sample test was much harder than the one i sat!
