What A-levels should I take

Hiiii
I'm trying to figure out what A-levels to take and I was hoping to get some advice. I'm thinking of applying to Kings College, Bath, and Royal Holloway. The A-levels I will definitely take are Business studies and Psychology. For my third I am debating on either taking Japanese or Economics. I would like to know which is better to have when applying for uni or if I should take a different A-level. Thank u

I would like to study Marketing or International Business!!
Have you looked at the entry requirements for the courses you’re interested in?
Have you checked if these unis have a list of non-preferred subjects? If so is business listed?
Have you checked if these unis have any issue with the combination of business and economics as some do?
Which subject do you enjoy more?
Which subject do you feel you’ll be able to do better at?

Then you are going to need Maths - either high GCSE or at A level depending on the Uni.
You need to check the entry requirements carefully for each course. And you need to be realistic about the course / career - both involve stats, data and without an interest in this area you will struggle at top Unis.

Yes, I have checked all three of the universities. King's College site didn't say much about what a-levels to take except that you need to have an A in either a Humanities or Social science subject. Also they did not have a list for non-preferred subjects. However Bath did have a preferred subject? on their site. It said that you need to take subjects that show both essay-writing and numerical skills; which I am taking (Business studies and Psychology) They didn't say much about the third subject. About the combination of business and economics looking through some sites I could find anything so I will email them and find out!!!
The course at Bath is 'Management with Marketing' and requires both a numerical and essay based A level - and GCSE grade 6 minimum in both Maths and English.
Just a very quick tip here - in Bath's case (and most likely many other unis) we look a a variety of factors when considering an application, and whilst your grades are super-important, so is your personal statement, and please remember to let us know if you have any mitigating circumstances.

Best wishes 🙂

Economics is much much better for a business pathway!
