Yes. I went from grade 5 to a 9 (if you're talking ab lang). The things that really helped me were the lightup hub (you do have to pay but its probably the most amazing gcse revision source ever!!!); mr salles on youtube; reading/listening to the interesting Opinion articles on the Guardian newspaper and then just magpying some phrases found amusing (for paper 2 question 5) then planning and writing my own articles based off of past paper prompts or random prompts online; and then prepping a story beforehand for paper 1, one that is adaptable. It might sound like a lot but then if you do this for 33 days (which is actually a loong time) you can def do it. I did the guardian everyday for like 2 weeks before the real thing 1) bc my teacher recommended it 2) i literally had no idea what to do, and then also the prepping stories i did that like two days/the day before my mocks and the real thing where i got an 8 then a 9! If youre working at a 6/7 NOW it means you know what youre doing so if you do just a few of those things then you will def get what you want.
