LLB uni choices with ABB

Hello! I'm in year 13 and I received my final predictions, ABB. I don't know what unis would be the best for law with these grade requirements. I checked Leicester and Reading who both have AAB requirement and was wondering if I can still apply there and get offers. Reading uni's website also says that they highly recommend people with some grades off the requirement to still apply as they can make offers and I'm one grade off so now I'm in a dilemma as I don't know if applying to these unis would be a waste or not.
I think Reading was accepting CCD during clearing this year for the Law course, so don’t worry about the entry requirements for that uni. Still a fantastic uni though. I got ABB in my A-Levels and I’m currently doing Law at Surrey which is pretty decently ranked

Hey there! It's definitely not a waste to apply to universities like Leicester and Reading, even if you're a grade off their typical requirements. Many universities, as you've seen with Reading, encourage students to apply if they're close to the entry requirements because they may consider other aspects of your application, like your personal statement, work experience, or reference. Plus, universities sometimes make offers to students with grades slightly below the standard requirement, especially if they believe the student has strong potential.
You might also want to consider applying to a mix of universities, including a couple with lower entry requirements, just to give yourself a range of options. And don't forget, if you perform well in your exams, you could even exceed your predicted grades!
Good luck with your applications, and remember, you have nothing to lose by applying to those Unis'!
