Second undergraduate degree loans

Hi, I need some clarification on type of support available for second undergraduate degree.

I currently hold 2 U.K. degrees:

- BEng Mechanical Engineering
- MSc Aerospace Engineering

I would like to study for a second bachelors in BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering part-time.

Can you please let me know if I qualify for tuition fee loan?

What about maintenance loan? Would I qualify as I haven’t had one before?

Hi Drew,

It would be Regent College London, but the degree is awarded by the University of Bolton. I want to start in September 2025. According to the website, it can last between 4.5 and 6 years. Link below:

Regent College London but the degree will be awarded by University of Bolton.

It can last between 4.5-6 years according to the website.

The course is classed as an exception course as it is part time. We do not take your previous study or qualifications into consideration when assessing your application. You can apply for the Tuition Fee Loan and a Maintenance Loan.
