When is the right time to start talking about Christmas/playing Christmas music?

We have a debate in the office.

Some of us feel like October is too early for Christmas music/decorations, while some of us feel like getting into the Christmas spirit early. What are your thoughts?

1st of December is the absolute earliest for me...autumn is just too good to be overshadowed by it in my opinion (I'm a big lover of Halloween and the general autumn vibe).
