Can I take maths, physics and Spanish for a physics degree?

I started my a levels last year and I was taking chemistry, physics, maths and Spanish. I dropped Spanish at the end of year 12 but now I’m regretting it. My school said they’d let me swap out chemistry as long as I put the effort in and I think I’d enjoy Spanish more. I’m just wondering if that will impact the courses I can apply for doing a pure physics degree and more than that, whether it will impact job applications and careers later on.
Shouldn’t do, I haven’t heard of a physics degree preferring chem but do check entry requirements. Nat sci id you were aiming for Cambridge would be an issue. Taking the subjects you enjoy more is a good idea 🙂

Check the entry requirements for courses at a range of different Unis - but most will only want Physics and Maths, and the 3rd grade can usually be from literally 'any other subject'.

Courses | Physics | Loughborough University (lboro.ac.uk)
Physics | Subject Area - Undergraduate - Newcastle University (ncl.ac.uk)
Physics and Astronomy, undergraduate courses : University of Sussex
etc etc

Won't affect it, I'm doing physics, maths and French. Chemistry might be useful but it's definitely not required or would you be hugely missing out. Some more prestigious unis would want to see FM ( like Oxbridge) but other than that you've got the right subjects. Good luck
