Swapping my A level choices

Hi, Im currently in Year 12 and Im studying History, Politics and Classics A level. Recently i haven’t been enjoying classics much/don’t have much passion for it and thinking about swapping to A-Level art. However, I’m planning to apply for History and Politics at places like Cambridge, Edinburgh and etc and was wondering whether it’s a good idea to swap Classics to Art and could this ruin my chances?
Check lists of preferred subjects for unis you’re interested in and also look at entry requirements for degrees you’d be interested in

I’ve checked and most have history and/or politics then a list of other subjects and classics was one of them

Check the entry requirements for each Uni you might apply to carefully.
And be aware that A level Art is hard work and time consuming - another essay-based subject like Politics, Sociology, RE, Law or Eng Lang might be less demanding and/or more relevant.

I currently do politics and my school doesn’t do law. However, for the other subjects I don’t find them as interesting. I’m also aware of the workload for art (I’ve heard it’s worse than GCSE) but I’m currently not sure

None really require classics

I’ve checked and most have history and/or politics then a list of other subjects and classics was one of them

Which Unis.

So is it better to do a relevant subject even though I could get a higher grade in Art?

My point is that you made this statement, and whilst maybe UCL, KCL or whatever might have a 'list' of subjects, all the other Unis do not. 'Most' simply is not accurate.
