Received interview invite from Oxford today. It seems as per mentioned in the website, for those who has a few less A* in GCSE you can compensate with higher UCAT. So don’t give up so easily.

don’t think the interviews being on consecutive days should disadvantage you, and could even be a good thing as you’ll be ‘in the groove’
(know they are different styles of interview)

(p.s. before i get called out for cardiff (english applicant) it was my favourite course structure (and oxford was favourite teaching style) and i want to give it a shot! i would be so incredibly delighted with any offers but especially from oxford or cardiff)

If anyone has applied to Newcastle check your junk email. Son had an interview offer yesterday and only found it by chance.

Thanks for the heads up, at least one other student had similar issue. Many had the email going into their spam folder.
Its prudent that all applicants diligently check their spam folders despite unis already advised and pre-warned applicants to do the same.
