Have they changed the entry requirements for English PGDE in Scotland?

Was chatting with fellow students today, and I'm absolutely convinced when the University emailed for my transcript they said I had to have 40 credits in Scottish Literature. I clearly remember panicking as my degree was in English Literature and I wasn't sure if I had 40 in Scottish literature (turned out I did). But the other students said I didn't have to- it can be English or Scottish, which confused me because in that case why was I panicking? Was I confused? I looked it up and now it's saying you can even have credits in media? Did they change the subject specific entry requirements or am I slowly losing my mind? My cousin was asking what she needed to teach and now I feel like I have no idea.
