zoology personal statement help!

I would love to apply to competitive universities for zoology such as Edinburgh and Bristol however the majority require a degree of chemistry which I have never done (I have an A in higher biology and geography and am taking both advanced higher) some advice I got was to make sure I have a really competitive personal statement in case the lack of chemistry is putting them off, is it still worth applying? and if so what can I put in my personal statement (having done no related work experience/volunteering) that can give me an edge?

I really can't help much here, but as far as I'm aware, if chemistry is listed as a requirement and you don't have it, your application won't be considered.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Bristol doesn’t require chem (bio and geography are fine) so you’re okay on that one 🙂 Edinburgh does require chem so you wont meet the requirements, hence no point applying
