I studied a Sociology degree, finishing in 2018. Due to personal circumstances I used the 4 years funding for this degree and failed a final module meaning I did not receive the full degree.
Since then I have been working as a nursing assistant and would like to go back and complete a nursing degree - would I be eligible for funding in this case, despite not completing my first degree?

Thanks - many Nursing courses are exceptions, which means you'll be entitled to funding regardless of your previous study.

If you have a particular course and university in mind let us know and we'll check this.

Yes it would be the 3 year course, starting September 2025

Thank you for confirming. I can see that we fund various Nursing courses at Edge Hill University so it is likely that you would be eligible for support if those courses carry over to 25/26, however you can confirm this nearer the time when the applications open for that academic year.
