For entry into medicine 2025 intake

Hi everyone!! I'm looking into joining Plymouth for medicine next year as an international applicant (I live in the UK but I don't have a passport or ILR). I'm currently predicted an AAAB in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths, respectively.

My GCSE's are:-
Physics-8
Chemistry-7
Biology-7
Maths-7
English Lan-6
English Lit-6
Geography-7
Philosophy and Region-8
Computer Science - 6

I looked into Plymouth and I meet the entry requirements and I like the university a lot than other universities. I also got a score of 2630 + B3 in the UCAT. I am kinda nervous in applying to medicine basically, but I am looking for reassurance in this subject.

Appreciate your reply a lot!

Hello! Plymouth's international student cut off last year was 2600, and they do not consider bands or GCSEs, so you're all good there.
Historically, the cut offs have been erratic, but I think they will fall slightly, and probably not rise beyond 2650. (Take that with a pinch of salt as I am an applicant like you, and no one can predict this)
It may be a little risky in case competition increases and the cut off rises, but you can always take the risk.

Is btec level 2 diploma or certificate in teamwork and personal Development in the Community a good credential for medicine application on top of strong A levels and GCSEs ? I’m a youth leader cadet at St John’s looking to enrol into this diploma or certificate course. Any suggestions?
