Hello
I'm doing Dracula and the bloody chamber, although I'm not sure what my question should be. Bloody chamber is also a really short book and it comes with other stories and I'm not sure if I'll be required to use some of the other short stories. I'm really confused what to do and I'm not even sure if this makes sense.

hi, so I asked my teacher the same thing and she said that for this part of the exam we will have to do a comparison question (which we will be given 3 options for atleast in my exam board which is OCR) and then an unseen text which is the normal analysis. for the comparison obviously you need quotations but for bloody chamber you will need to mention at least 3 of the stories is what my teacher advised, maybe 4 stories if you can. I asked my teacher for help with quotes and she said that she will provide us with quote banks for some maybe you should ask your teacher if she can do this because they are very helpful. Also, in the comparison you will need to talk about context and in the bloody chamber make references to intertextual references (for example in snow child this is an adaptation of Snow White so there are many links between the 2 stories which you would need to draw attention to and talk about why Angela Carter has done this). Hope this helps!
