What gay clubs are on offer at Brighton University?

Hi there! Here at Brighton we are one of the most LGBTQ+ friendly universities and the city more widely. We don't have a club on campus however our student bar The Venue is very welcoming to everyone and hosts lots of different nights and events (including drag bingo!)

Down in the city centre there is a huge variety of LGBTQ+ venues, from bars, to clubs, to cafes and to shops. The two biggest clubs are Legends and Club Revenge that have student nights and are both super-popular! There are also lots of bars that have music and drinks promos on the seafront such as R-Bar, Centre Stage, Charles Street and Bar Broadway. Another great queer venue is The Actors that welcomes trans, non-binary, and everyone else in between.

I'd also recommend checking out The Queery, which is a LGBTQ+ bookshop, café and library space.
