Hi everyone, It's now been a few weeks since you may have moved in / started uni and chances are, you may have been through a range of emotions! I thought we could pop in a few things about how we have been feeling so far, what's been good or bad and how you are finding it overall. This can be from a first year perspective or even final year perspective! Looking forward to hearing your answers Estelle Graduate Advocate
Hi Estelle,
What a great question! It's so important, especially in this often turbulent time, to identify what is going well for us.
I'm now in my final year, and it has been a little bit of a challenge. I've returned from study abroad into a new class, and while I was very nervous to begin with, it has been easier than I thought to get to know everyone! I'm enjoying my classes, the work is super interesting (but tough), and I'm glad to be back in all of my previous work/volunteering roles. I'm also enjoying the city, and I can't wait for all of the Christmas events!
I am finding myself to be feeling a little bittersweet already, however. I'm making sure to take the time to reflect on this, and I'm feeling very thankful for each experience I have had in my four years at university.
Looking forward to hearing about what other students have enjoyed so far this year!

Great question! I am currently in my second year studying fashion promotion and communication.
After having some time off over summer and going from first to second year, coming back has taken me a little while to get into a routine with the workload, but I think I am getting back into the swing of things and really like the projects we have been set, which helps.
I am also enjoying living with friends this year, we have started taking it in turns to cook tea/dinner which has been such a help in saving time and money, plus it's nice to eat all together every night and talk about our day.
This year I am making more of an effort to go into central London more frequently, which has been fun but maybe not so fun for my bank account lol.
I am definitely ready for reading week and excited to see my family, but overall enjoying second year
