Hi there!

It's usually possible to transfer to another university after completing your foundation year. To do this you'll need to apply through UCAS.

Depending on what course you apply for after your foundation year, universities may still look at your a levels but they will look at what you have studied during your foundation year degree and see whether it is compatible with accepting you onto their full degree for your chosen subject.

I hope this helps😀

I would highly recommend contacting the uni you are looking at before putting in a UCAS application.

FY's are not designed to be universally accepted, (they are for progression at that specific uni). So you may find it is case-by-case when using it to apply elsewhere. It could well be accepted, but there is no point wasting a choice if it isn't.

Dont forget to tell the uni which course(s) you want to join and include all your previous grades.
