Psychology BSc

I’m going to start psychology undergrad at OU but I don’t know which modules to choose. I’m looking to get into therapy in the future.

D110, D241 are two good modules to get you started on that route! Level 1 is D110 and Level 2 is D241, which I am currently on. I would also recommend looking into doing external accredited counselling courses as well that are BACP accredited 😊

All i would say is that double check your career path for what type of therapist you want to be, as a significant amount of them do not require a psychology degree. I am sure you are not one of them either, but a significant amount of people misconstrue the role of a therapist (its very different than what most people imagine) so make sure you actually speak to different therapists first before embarking on this career path.

I'd recommend looking at the BPS accredited courses if you'd ever like to become a psychologist in the future. I did social psychology initially and then I switched to BSc Psychology so I had more choice over my modues
