Watch craigndave videos and practice exam questions on gcsecomputersicence

my homework most of the time is to produce cornell notes on a selected video of theirs that my teachers sets us but whenever i have practice question on the videos the next lesson i keep finding that i didn't learn some parts and that the questions would be complex compared to what i learnt from the video.
You should watch the craig'n'dave videos ( https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCiOXwirraUAEhj4TUjMxYm4593B2dUPF ) to UNDERSTAND the content. Then, once you UNDERSTAND it you have to MEMORISE the key points. To do this you should use the OCR SPECIFICATION ( https://www.ocr.org.uk/Images/558027-specification-gcse-computer-science-j277.pdf ) to see what is the EXACT content that you need to memorise.
For example if you want study Network topologies you would:
1) Find the video in craigndave and then focus on the key concepts that you want to understand (eg learning the star & mesh networks and how they both have advantages and disadvantages)
2) Then you look in the spec what you need to MEMORISE about them, it says 'Advantages and disadvantages of the Star and Mesh topologies', so you would then make notes about 2/3 adv & dis for both topologies.
3) Then you MEMROISE these notes till you can easily recall them in the exam
4) Now in the exam if you get a question about them your brain will straight away recall the adv/dis's then you can apply it to the question and bag those marks!
Hope this helps
