I am in my mid forties (I probably sound ancient to you) but i think many people have those moments. I still don’t know where I will be/what I will be doing in 5 years time and I have always lived that way. There are two key things to remember.

1 - dont worry. Life has shown me that things will work out well in the end, so you just have to get through those times when you’re not feeling it. It can be hard, especially if it’s not what you had planned or expected, but it is ALWAYS worth it.

And 2 - enjoy the small stuff. It’s perhaps a cliche but get rewards from little joys. Consciously noting ‘oh that’s a pretty sunset’ (over my grubby, terrace, city street 😂) or ‘mmm, I’m really value putting my feet up for an hour and eating a few biscuits’ ensure every day has several nice times.

Life really is just a long bunch of small moments. There’s no need to have your future mapped out - the big stuff will happen (I have a mortgage, kids, job etc) but it’s the small stuff that feeds your soul. Look after yourself and enjoy a few nice moments today, tomorrow and throughout life (whatever they might be for you) and the other things will fall into place. Be open to little pleasures and big changes. They’re coming whether we expect them or not!
