Welcome e-mail?

Did anyone get a welcome e-mail from the University of Liverpool? I'm currently having to piece together information - I've tried asking and just seem to be hitting brick walls or just drip-fed info.

I know some of it will be useless now, but does anyone have a copy of any welcome email that may have been sent, like you get at other unis, covering the following (may not cover all):

- Freshers Week (I think the Uni of Liverpool calls it Welcome Week)

- Accessing online systems (e-mails, whatever online "bulletin" thing is used - e.g. Canvas, Blackboard, etc.), IT facilities (printing, etc.), timetables, etc.

- Accommodation

- What facilities the uni offers (e.g. mental health stuff, funding, etc. etc.)

- Food places

- Anything else

If there was something like that sent out, it'd be really useful if someone could share it with me, even if it's undergraduate (though I'm postgraduate so if there's one for them, it'd be better). Nobody on my course seems to have got one, we didn't even know about attendance codes until earlier this week and we're already at the end of week 2.

The "handbook" didn't mention attendance codes and it's out of date, with "deadlines" from before the course even started this year!

Thanks.

My DD has just started second year. From what I recall from what she had to do in the first few weeks, I think it is all covered on the following page:

Thank you! I don't know why the people I've been asking didn't just link me to that page. The uni is so disorganised (it's not the only one; I know of others that are disorganised too but Liverpool takes the biscuit). That page is exactly the sort of thing I was looking for (though at other unis the info would be sent as a welcome e-mail). So much of it would have been so useful before I started; I feel like I've missed so much 🙁 .

The IT account stuff, the registration, the accommodation stuff, etc. would have all been useful to know before. I presume the Welcome module would have been useful but it's saying 'access denied' now so I guess it was only active before and during freshers week. And of course the welcome week stuff is done now. And I have my ID card now.

But all the other stuff, the apps (though My Liverpool doesn't work on my phone and I'm not shelling out on a new phone just to add an app), student services, student admin, IT, union, accessing timetable, counselling, etc. are all useful throughout the year. The uni really should do a second Welcome Week so people can do all the stuff they missed. Sadly it's not practical for them to do anything about accommodation since it's full now except for a really expensive one that's not appropriate for my needs (disability).Thank you!
