Help for parents

I have 2 boys attending uni both getting maximum maintenance loan because I earn under the 25 grand. I have told them both should be giving me money from this for up keep do you think thats fine. Both boys work so I do get £50 a week now from Sept as I have lost in total £900 a month for them both with them being 19 now. The boys gets about £160 plus a week in wages and are getting £2800 in maintenance loans. Both live at home so bills are included and food plus I take them to uni and pick them up if I am not at work myself so that maybe be lifts about 3 times each and I drop them at work if I can and always pick one son up at between 12 and 3 in the morning from work. Is it wrong saying £50 a week isn't enough for everything both them get and both should be giving me some of the maintenance loan

Maybe just keep it at £50 per week and ask them if they can perhaps give a bit extra every so often and see what they say because of the extra costs of things at the moment.

I stayed at home during my two degrees at university but I worked part-time throughout and I give my parents what they asked for each week ( I was monthly paid so they got it then) and I said that I would be happy to give them extra every other month if they wanted it but they never asked as they both had decent jobs.

I'm a year post graduate and working full time as a nurse but I still work at my part-time job as worked there since before leaving school few years back now.

Hope you can sort something out with the boys.
