Don't have money for more lessons before test

Hi so throughout the summer I did an intensive dinging course 40 hours over 5 weeks. The price was reasonable, I just paid slightly more as I wasn't doing it over months. The instructor I got is really nice and we get on but he charges £50 an hour. At first this wasn't an issue as I'd already paid for the intensive but I ended up failing my first test with him due to a silly mistake in the rain. My second test is in 10 days and he now wants me to do 3 more lessons with him before then but it'll cost me £300 and I don't have that money.
I got a second opinion from a different instructor who said that there wasn't really anything new he could teach me as I drive well and to do private practice with my mum.
If I do the lessons with my instructor I'm going to have to push my test date back as it'll take me about 5 weeks to earn £300 from work.
What should I do???
Stand up for yourself, you tell them what lessons you want, not the other way around. The prices you're getting charged are sky high though (more than double mine) and it sounds a bit like they just want to take advantage of you. Do you think you should be spending another 300 due to this silly mistake in the rain?

Something to think abut is if you're having trouble finding £300 for this, what are you planning to do when you pass? is it costs 1000s just to get on the road.

Hi thanks for your advice, I kinda just want to practice with my mum and then go into the test but then there's the issue with not driving my Instructors car for a bit. Regarding after I pass, I'm going to go to university so I wouldn't get a car until after that and use those 3 years to save up anyway so I'm not too worried about that. I just wanted to pass so my insurance will be cheaper when I do get a car.
