Widening access for young carers?

Hi! I’m looking to apply to unis for 2025, mostly in Scotland. I was a young carer up until i was 13, but the person I was caring for passed away. I’ve been told I am still eligible for widening access but there seems to be no information about this scenario and a lot of places refer to it as HAVING caring responsibilities rather than also in past tense. I just want to be sure I have any chance of receiving an offer. I’m applying for History, I have AAABC in highers and I am studying 3 advanced highers and get help from LEAPS if any of that is relevant. Thanks!!
