Confusion around male friend
I was talking to this guy and he told me a lot about himself. He told me what his goals were and what tv show to watch and that sort of thing. He looked out for me and made sure I was okay. I asked if we were just friends and he proceeded to talk to me more. But a friend of mine messaged him as me asking when is he going to ask me out and the next thing I know he blocked me. Did I do anything wrong as I'm confused as to why he did this seeing as we were getting along well.

Yes we were talking about it as I liked him but was too scared to confront him about it.

No he didn't because it was from my phone and they don't know each other

You are saying that that friend of yours send the message to him from your phone? So technically it is still you asked the question to him? Well you should not have done it like that...
Try to meet and talk to him in real life.
It's really strange he would just block you instead of talking it out with you or just saying "no let's keep being friends". At the end of the day it sounds like you dodged a bullet. This weirdness or inability to talk about things would have reared its ugly head sooner or later. You can move on with a clear conscience.

Yeah especially as he's 30/31 and I'm 24. He seemed mature and just able to have a conversation about things like this so I was really disappointed

He must have only been interested in friendship and got spooked by the message. Seems a bit harsh to block you though. Perhaps he was confused about who was actually communicating and though it was a scam or wind up
He kept wanting to know if I had anyone in mind and wanted to know how my ex boyfriend looked like so I don't know if he just wanted a friendship as the messages seemed mixed there
