Hello Soton applicants. How are you all preparing for the group interview - I'm struggling to find resources to help specifically, the advice is very generic.

Not yet, believe they go out mid Jan for BM4. I am relatively confident I'll get an interview as I meet the academic criteria and my UCAT is higher than the min threshold has ever been.

Hi if you don’t mind me asking, what is your UCAT score?

It's 3000. The highest the cut off has been is 2940. The average score did go up 20 points this year, but I've read there's fewer applicants also which would help.

Southampton is my only realistic option so I'll be gutted if I don't get an interview.

Well done that’s an amazing score! I’m sure you’ll get an interview.

This thread is oddly quiet compared to the other GEM posts.

Looking at the 2024 thread Soton will likely send our their invites next week. They sent them out on 13th Jan last year.
