Optometry Questions!
Heyy I just have some questions for people studying optometry in the uk (mainly Scotland)
For context I didn’t do as well as I hoped for my highers but I am committed to optometry. I did bio chem eng maths and modern studies. I have numerous extracurriculars too.
So how do you specifically find the course?
I know the course is quite physics heavy but is it manageable?
What can I do to strengthen my application?
Personal statement advice?
Just I guess how is it structured? The course I mean?
Is it enjoyable?
What about the after uni is done? How is the actual job and sector? I don’t think you can really work your way up which is annoying but yes.
