do u mind sharing your freinds ucat score if that’s okay with them ? Just bc I’m trying to undetand lile how Bristol are deciding how to send them out and it’s stressing me out a little ngl that I still haven’t heard anything bc I thought I did well enough in my ucat to get an interview but idk 😭😭😭😭

edinburgh are sending out, i saw a bunch of people on reddit with edinburgh interview invites if that's anything to believe. i also personally know someone with a crazy high ucat who got invited to cambridge interview. i dont think @lilysilly_5454 is trolling. unless you want to accuse me of trolling too 😅

No problem at all, my apologies. I don't know anything about Edinburgh so I cannot comment. My main issue was with the fact that people come on here to say ''Hey guys, I heard someone somewhere got an interview for this uni'' - It's quite unnecessary, and it causes a lot of people to stress out for no reason. I'm a reapplicant, and this exact same thing happened last year on almost all of our forums, because people didn't have anything better to do. Sure if you yourself got an interview, feel free to tell us and we will congratulate! But otherwise it's a pointless thing to say.

no worries, i understand. this is my first time applying and lowkey its stressing me out too 😭
i've seen a bunch of people who were probably trolling on here and just felt kind of bad when someone who was probably telling the truth was being accused of it

I had it confirmed in email that I qualify for a guaranteed interview from Bristol and I haven’t heard anything yet and I’m guessing these would be the first invited to be sent, that would make sense.

I have been invited to interview yesterday by BSMS and today by Exeter though so really pleased so far 😊

some students get guaranteed interviews to certain courses, depending on different contextual data - such as where you live or where you went to school, etc. Bristol used to give guaranteed interviews to students who live in Bristol, and I think this is still the case. They weren't suggesting they got invited to an interview yet, rather Bristol have confirmed that they do fall under that widening participation criteria that are eligible for guaranteed interviews. Nothing to worry about.

I qualify for a guaranteed interview because I am doing an access to medicine course as a mature student. This is stated on their website if you’d like proof, I don’t need to copy and paste my email lol.

As I said, I still haven’t heard anything, and I would presume guaranteed interviews would be the first ones sent out. So I am agreeing no interviews have been sent out…

I just contacted the admissions team via email they were super helpful! I’d imagine they’re inundated atm with emails though so might take a little while for a response.

Bristol offer a guaranteed interview scheme for any mature students who are studying an access to medicine course (which I am) and I saw this on their website so this was how I knew.
