Blimey, the anxiety of interview invitation seems to be getting the worst out of applicants. Instead of encouraging, it's casting of stones. This Bristol A100 thread looks "more toxic" than other threads - certainly no need for damning one another.

All the best for those who applied and still waiting - keep encouraging rather than second guessing and questioning "are we there yet".

Rang Bristol. Likely online interviews Jan/Feb. No interviews sent yet.

They have moved to online interviews once more? In a way that is a positive move for you guys hoping for entry in 2025 compared to the MMI style they formerly used.

The interviews will still be MMIs, just online.

How does this work? Do you go from one teams 'room' to the next in quick succession?

I did my previous medicine interviews on zoom. It has separate room features which is what many use, and after the time at an MMI station is up someone manually moved each person to their next station online. It’s a pretty cool feature.

There will be two breakout rooms, each room with 3 questions I believe. 6 questions in total, and 6 assessors

Ah ok, that sounds beneficial actually. The changing between rooms gives you time to relax, reflect or recover if you feel something went wrong earlier.

Why would you be qualified for a guaranteed interview, @Hal2025 confirmed on here that no interviews have been sent out. Can you sent us a copy and paste of parts if that email?

Hiya
I just contacted the admissions team via email they were super helpful! I’d imagine they’re inundated atm with emails though so might take a little while for a response.
Bristol offer a guaranteed interview scheme for any mature students who are studying an access to medicine course (which I am) and I saw this on their website so this was how I knew.

Do you think I could email imperial about their guarenteed interview scheme also , cause theirs is for every applicant but not entirely sure if I’ll get a reply .

2980 B1 but i’m contextual and was guaranteed an interview

Congratulations!! Wish you the best for your interview. Is it in january?

Great news and a January interview leaves plenty of time to prepare. Keep practising!! Bristol is by far the best place to study medicine (yes I am biased) and the best place in the UK to be living as a student.

Mind if I ask the UCAT scores for both you and your friend.

Tabulating info for future medicine applicants and such info will be very helpful!

Congrats!

Thank you 😊

My UCAT was 2680 Band 1, I’ll ask my friend if she’s happy for me to share her stats.
