British overseas citizens in Europe are treated as home applicants but I’m guessing you are North American by the « gotten ».
You will find all the statistics by course and applicant pool in this link but generally for undergraduate medicine there are 3905 home applicants for 705 International with 235 home enrolling on the course for 15 International ( 320 and 35 offers respectively)

I’m Bangladeshi 🙂 . I am complicated because by the time I apply I’ll be considered an overseas but just two months after applying I’ll be some a home fee status applicant if that makes sense . So I’m worried sick z

What matters is your status on the first day of the course

Anyone that has applied through UCAS and who holds no offers at the end of the application round can apply through clearing.

Ok that’s good thank you so much for your reply. Does anyone know what the interviews are like nowadays and what kind of sheet they follow to select candidates ? Do they score people based on their answers ?

The interviews are online and in MMI format for Medicine at university of Bristol. They obviously score your interview and rank people based on that to give offers.

They’re MMI, so multiple stations with a question/ ethical issue/ scenario per station each being graded individually ( so if you muck one up, put it behind you, and move onto the next) with the best overall scores getting an offer.

Oh ok. Do you know any good resources where I can practice just in case I ever land an interview ? What have you all used ?

Oh thank you so much . I paid for medify for the UCAT I’m not gonna lie it’s quieter tough i underestimated the difficulty. Sometimes I score a good 40/52 in AR section and sometimes it’s just 20 and the VR is a menace I don’t even wanna talk about that . QR is fine for me and DR omg it varies a wide amount for me . I have googled some YouTube videos I’m scared if I can get atleast a 3000 for Bristol by the time I apply for the next cycle .

Medify is more difficult than the actual UCAT test, while Medentry is easier than the actual UCAT test - though different people may have different views. So its down to you really.

Int'l students could be eligible for UCATSEN, so do check on that if you are eligible - it gives 25min extra time for applicants.

I didn’t meet the criteria for UCATSEN unfortunately, I agree with you. I have seen medentry questions they seem a lot more relaxed even the VR but medify makes me feel like an idiot most times 😭😂. The VR section of medify I barely get anything right and it’s raising flags for me , I don’t know how to increase my score on that. I tried to practice speed reading from articles and I used a free website before attempting medify called information medics . The questions in information medics sounded nothing like the ones in MEDIFY they seemed really easy even AR and VR.

I used this book as a beginner "The Ultimate UCAT Collection: New Edition with over 2500 questions and solutions. UCAT Guide, Mock Papers, And Solutions." ISBN 1913683834

Have a look at this book before you start on medify. But note that there are few wrong answers in the book itself. Once comfortable (though there is likely never going to be a comfortable time), then move to medify and/or medentry.
