Just a warning - there is a post going on TSR claiming to send a special form for A100, please becareful as your personal emailwill be included in that form. Have asked the handler's user to clarify the purpose and intention of the form when personal info isincluded. Be careful before you fill up anything, especially with your personal email, linked to UCAS is concerned.https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=7531879&page=7, post Reply 138 and my query on Reply 140Please help spread this to other A100 threads that you have applied for, I can only post a new post only every 90s which is goingto be slow to cover all A100 threads. - JonJon7

That thread in Cambridge A100 had been removed. Nevertheless, still be vigilant.

When do Bristol usually start inviting to interviews?

Reply 82

Hi guys
I’ve applied to Bristol Dent and i’m contextual and did a summer school programme so I had a guaranteed interview. I got my interview offer through this morning, but this may just be for guaranteed interview applicants 🙂 just fyi

No idea

I have a feeling that Bristol send out interviews based on UCAT score, with the higher scoring candidates being offered interview earlier, along with possibly Gateway candidates? They then offer tranches of interviews as they progress down the rankings based on UCAT score?

I might be completely wrong though with this so don't take it as gospel.

i have a 3270 UCAT score and haven’t heard anything at all so I don’t think they’ve sent out interview offers yet, although I am very confused as all my other medicine unis have got back to me already

Bristol interviews all through out Jan and Feb for medicine, so there's plenty of time tbh...and with that UCAT score you're definitely going to get one 😤

Yeah, I think you might be right about this. No need to panic at all yet anyway. A lot of people will make decisions upon where they want to go when they receive offers in.

Exactly...it seems that guaranteed interviewd are coming out for now. For Bristol, 3000+ is defo safe to get an interview and there's a lot of time still

i practiced for about just over a month and my only advice is with AR it might help to form a list of associations e.g see lines and think intersections, crossovers, number ect. the rest of my advice would be a lot more specific just due to the way i deal with things

I’m actually ok with AR , my problem is VR omd that’s a menace for me . QR is doable and DM is also rough a little

I've just got an email saying they've put my application on hold, has anyone else got that? My UCAT was 3090 so I was hoping to get an interview.

I got it too and after asking my med supervisor it essentially means they have to go through all the applications before they can reject or offer an interview but they have graded our application itself just others they have to go through
