Low ucat score (2240)- Where to apply?!

I have got a very low score of 2240 Band 2 even though I was averaging 2500+ and have no clue where to apply as most universities cut off is higher. Is there any foundational/ Widening participation schemes or unis with lower ucat cut off or any transfer schemes with guranteed places that i could maybe apply to/ look into. I have five grades at 7 one 8 and rest 6s in gcses and my Alevels are all A'a but I can get them moved up/ down depending on what I am applying to. Could anyone please help me

Hello 🙂 @xade
Looking at your stats you do meet the entry requirements for UEA's Medicine Course. UEA have a teaching hospital close by where students carry out some of their practical work, starting from first year.
Let me know if you have any questions, and if you are interested in applying to UEA, you could have a look at the virtual open day to see what UEA is about!
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! Good luck with your application! 🙂

Hello! 🙂 @iamvarshuu
Would you mind sharing a bit more about your GCSE results? To be eligible for the UEA course, you'd need a minimum of 6 subjects at a grade 7.
You also would have to have AAA at A Level.
UEA doesn't have a cut off for the UCAT however it's used to rank students for interviews.
If you'd like more detail about the entry requirements have a look here. I'm happy to help if you have any questions! 🙂

Hello! @iamvarshuu
I'm afraid UEA asks for at least a 7 in GSCE maths, you did mention it earlier, sorry I didn't pick up on it!

Hello! @xade
Spending over 2 years on A Levels mean you would fall under the resit policy at UEA. You would be expected to achieve one A* but the rest of the entry requirements wouldn't change.
Hope this helps!
