hi, how are you finding the course and stuff so far?

The course has been going great. The workload has felt like a lot but that is to be expected, especially for a student like me going back into education after a gap year.

MedSocieties will form a lot of the educational support available to you (Anki & notion workshops, study sessions, essay writing skills, etc...) which is all accessible through a MedSoc membership (one time payment for entire 5/6 years, roughly ~£50 if I remember correctly).

You are also able to join UoB and UoS societies but I have yet to do so, so I cannot comment on how they are.

There have been a few issues with the course (nothing major), however we have ample opportunity to bring them up. Just today, there was a forum involving the entire cohort in the lecture theatre where we were able to bring forth our issues to the med school.

I'm happy to answer further questions!
