VR was 670. Thank you for your help

Max score for Nottingham this year onwards = 82. Max 50 for UCAT and max 32 for GCSE.

Your DD's score is 61 out of 82. SJT 1 gave your DD an edge but the 3 sections of 600 - 700 pulled her score down a bit.

I would still suggest do wait for UCAS official stats in mid Sept before strategically choose her options. There is still a possibility for Notts but do need to plan. Hope above helps.

I will put you in my little diary to catch up with you both in Sept, trust ok for you and your DD. In the meantime, do spend sometime with other med schools too, the more options there are the better.

Hi, my daughter is hoping to apply to Nottingham, she got GCSEs 9999997 and a btec distinction which I guess they don’t count, and short course GCSE grade 9 the year before. Her school only take max 8 GCSEs. Her UCAT score was 2360, band 1 made up of:
VR 730
DM 750
QR 880
Predicted A levels A*A*A*
She is a home student non contextual. I calculated her Nottingham score as 70, is it likely she would get an interview does anyone know?
Many thanks in advance.

There is a good chance your daughter will get an interview, last year my daughter got an interview with much less than your daughters. I feel notts score of 70 is not correct if it hasn’t changed from last year. It should be much higher.

Hi everyone. Can you help? My daughter has just done her Ucat and is going to end up with 119 Nottingham points, as far as I can make out. She had SJT 1 and high 600s in each section. Nottingham is her top choice from visits but will 119 be enough for an interview offer? Thank you
If I remember correctly last year my daughter got interview with notts score of 117, hope for best.

Thanks for your reply, it looks like Nottingham score is out of 82 this year. It was just the gcse score that was worrying us a little, as it looks as though she has failed one even though she took a btec and passed with distinction.

Got an offer sometime yesterday but only realised today! Based on my offer I am NOT contextual or elite athlete. That being said, I was contextual for KCL. I am saying all this because my GCSE grades were 9988887776 and UCAT 2700. For my Nottingham Points, I don’t know if I’m calculating wrong or Nottingham just wanted me regardless but I calculated a score of 110-100 I don’t remember exactly. I thought they invited me for interview because they consider me an elite athlete and/or contextual. I attended a GB camp for a few months for handball so i dont know if that would make elite athlete but I didn’t provide them with this information, did mention it during my interview though. I felt like my stats were generally lower than what people on here were coming on with. But I got an offer despite that so i dont know if the minimum threshold people have are too high for Nottingham, also please feel free to correct my Nottingham score if I calculated it wrong… Well done to everyone else who got offers and good luck to everyone still waiting!
How did you calculate your points?

Hi, My score is 63 out of 82, non-contextual home student. Is there a good chance to get the interview?

Your score is equivalent to 115/150 so I’m sorry to say it might be too low, have you considered Lincoln?
