Will my Pockit account be closed because of CIFAS marker?

Hello I received a CIFAS marker on my file but my other bank accounts are not yet closed. I opened a pockit account since I thought I wouldn't have to get my credit checked before getting the account. Now I'm worried about losing the account. Can someone help me please? The CIFAS is a on my file for 3 years.

It might get closed -- and it might not.

The impression I get with Cifas markers is that banks only find out you have a marker when they ask Cifas -- Cifas doesn't proactively notify them.

So if the bank doesn't check with Cifas, then they won't know you have a marker. So if you have an existing account with a different bank then it might not get closed. It will depend on whether the bank has a reason to check with Cifas. It's possible that some run a check periodically; but otherwise they'll probably only check if you ask for credit.

Thanks for clarifying
