Just checked the interview dates on the original email they sent and it has few dates for March for home students.

Presumed you are referring to interview invitation??

Not sure if your contextual circumstances fits into UCL's reduced limited contextual criteria for this year. If you do qualify, I think your UCAT score might be on the borderline case if you fit into their contextual criteria, ie Access UCL scheme.

Don't give up as yet until its over!

Defer for entry doesn't really affect your application, though I have not seen anyone reporting (so far and believe there will be many who have not shared their stats) below 2800 B2, contextual. Though saying this, the difference between 2800 (contextual) and 2850 (non-contextual) for UCL is marginally insignificant.

UCL has over the years, traditionally having a narrower margin between contextual and non-contextual, based on ex-BMAT thresholds. If 2850 was indeed the minimum threshold for non-contextual, the extrapolated stat based previously year, thresholds would be ~2680-2700 for contextual. PLEASE do take this stat assumption with a pinch of salt as it was based and extrapolated from published ex-BMAT data which we cannot use for UCAT this year on.
