mines just changed to attended anyone else?

I read somewhere that UCL tends to give their offers by April 14th and news after that is most likely rejection. But on this thread I'm seeing that a lot of people are getting rejected at the same time as those getting offers so I feel like it could be different for medicine? I don't know but my portico is still on unattended and my other universities are opening accommodation booking so I'm getting quite anxious 😭🙏

Negative, no A100 offers.
And thyself?

I am here as a mother, seeking support and kind words for my son. He just received a rejection from UCL for medicine after interview, his dream university, and he is absolutely devastated.
Despite having offers from amazing medical schools like Leeds, KCL, BSMS, he is struggling to accept this outcome. UCL was all he ever wanted.
I have asked mentors and doctors to speak to him, to help him see that getting into medical school at all is an incredible achievement , especially as he is one of the very few in his school with multiple offers. But nothing has quite lifted his spirits yet.
Please, no bashing or harsh comments, just gentle words of encouragement, advice from those who’ve been through similar disappointments, or success stories from those who didn’t end up at their first choice but still found joy and fulfilment.
He needs hope, not pity. And I need help keeping him motivated to work hard for his grades so that he can embrace the brilliant future that’s still ahead of him. Thank you all in advance.

Oh dear, these med school entries are a lot to deal with. Imperial and KCL, still waiting on UCL. Pooled and rejected from Cambridge though😞…. Any plans, like gap year or what ( if it’s ok to ask)

I don't know if this helps but tell him he can do an intercalated year at UCL from KCL and something that you and him must have heard time and time again is that the medical school that you went to does genuinely not matter when you become a doctor. Another thing is that the other 3 universities are all 5 year degrees so maybe that's a +. Also KCL is still a top 50 global university although not on UCL's level. Hopefully he will recover quite soon! Of course he can reapply next year if he really wants but that is obviously risky and it would be a shame to give up the other offers which many candidates hope for. But yh I think the first point can still motivate him a little bit.

'Tis a long way to Girton College, A100 MMXXVI entry.
Or simply Trinity College.
If the next UCAT score and A-Levels suffice.
Unless Bristol offers, thought that is highly unlikely.

Just don’t give up and focus on your exams. There’s always a way. Wishing you all the best

One of my friends went to the offer holder day today and he said that the admissions lady said they have already sent out all the offers I think.
