This question is raised frequently. Have a look at the following AMA thread by a practising radiographer:

Hey there 🤗

It’s totally understandable to feel a bit uncertain. The good news is that while radiography does have elements of physics, especially when it comes to understanding how imaging equipment works, it's not the main and only focus. Most subjects lean more towards biology and anatomy, which you might find more manageable if that's your strength.

Check out the detailed description of the Radiography modules at DMU to gain a clearer understanding of the course content.

If your physics background is from GCSEs, you're not alone. Lots of students will be in a similar position. Remember though that the lecturers are there to support you throughout the course, helping you grasp important concepts.

I think you can absolutely succeed in the course! 🌟 It might take some extra effort in the physics parts, but with determination and the right help, you’ll get through it.

I hope it was helpful 💪 Feel free to reach out if you have any questions 😉 You can also chat with me or other students directly through The Ambassador Platform.

Take care,
