Imperial says top 1/3 UCAT scores will be invited for interview. Anyone have any idea as to what that top 1/3 will be? I achieved 3010 B1 and applied as an aspirational, is there a chance I could be in the top 1/3? Thanks

Hi, Does Imperial acknowledge the application? I have received acknowledgment from rest of my universities. So I am bit concerned.

Yes hope we both get invites, the only reason I applied to imperial is because of their uplift for contextual.

Asked around and heard they get back to us around January
Beware of spookers is my suggestion. Just wait patiently for reply from Imperial officially.

Imperial clearly stated in their email response after UCAS application - along the line of "as long you do not hear from us, do consider and take it that your application is still in progress"

This is what I received from Imperial for my email query.

Dear Applicant,
Thank you for your email.

Now we have the UCAT scores we will begin our shortlisting process and hope to start sending interview invitations out over the next few weeks.
Kind regards,

Just received an email from Imperial a short moment ago

"We are pleased to confirm that your application for Medicine (MBBS 6YFT) has now been processed by Admissions and sent to your department for consideration.

What to expect next?
Your department will now carefully review your application in line with their selection process. If your department conducts tests, interviews or both and you are selected to undertake these, you will hear from your department directly. Details of the selection process can be found on your course page.

Following the selection process, your department will confirm the outcome of your application to Admissions, who will then send this to UCAS. You will receive a notification from UCAS when there has been an update to your UCAS Hub, where you will then be able to review the outcome of your application.

When will I have a decision on my application?
We aim to make decisions as soon as possible, however, please note that there will be variations on timeframes depending on the course(s) applied to. Overall, we will aim to process outcomes on all on-time applications by March 31 regardless of the date when you submitted your application.
Kind regards,

The Admissions team"

Am assuming no interview invitation has been sent out as yet, as far as I could interpret from this email. Unless other applicants have already received this email much earlier?

In the meantime just wait patiently, ignoring any unwanted noise otherwise.
