Wider reading for physics - for fun

I'm in year 12 and doing physics, maths, fm and DT for a levels and I'm particularly interested in learning more about space-time, the theory of everything, forces, the big bang and honestly a lot more 😭 I'm also a pretty good reader so it's not a big deal how difficult the books are to read
Thank you!

Not a book recommendation but have you checked openlearn for any courses?

That's a good idea actually I will have a look
I liked 'darkness at night' by E. R. Harrison which imo deserves to be better known than it is.

Seems to be pricey so maybe get a second hand copy or borrow it from your town library

The only way to study physics is by doing physics hehe! That is why I recommend the Feynman lectures on physics, they explain the maths very nicely! Not only that, they have an accompanying problem book!
For lighter reading I suggest ‘surely you’re joking, mr Feynman’
Have fun!~

"To Engineer is Human" by Henry Petroski is amazing.
