Advice for A Level aspiring med student!
Hi,
I am a 16 year old who has just begun A Levels.
I got a B in chem and A in bio and maths for GCSES, I feel really confident with maths and somewhat happy with bio. I struggle a lot with chemistry as it’s not my strong point.
I would really like to do medicine in the future, however I understand how competitive this field is. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice for my subjects (especially chem) and the UCAT and other factors I need to consider for this course.
I also have been thinking a lot about studying abroad if needs be. How do I get into this and where should I look if I wish to do this? I wouldn’t like to go to a country to study medicine where I come back to the UK and not be “respected” as a doctor. Any advice would be useful. Thank you!
