iPad or Laptop

I am doing Maths Economics and Chemistry now (used to be Computer Science but I changed it for Chemistry this week)
Would I need an iPad or Laptop I can bring in you guys think?
Thanks for your help
Well, it depends. iPad would be helpful if u need to draw any diagrams for maths/chem etc, but laptop to type out any notes.

HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-dh0xxx (or a similar 2 in 1 laptop/tablet) would be useful (with a stylus-type pen) to do both

it depends on what u feel like is best. i do maths cs and geo, and lowkey wish my old laptop (pavilion) had better battery life so then i could draw stuff for my geo and cs coursework on that laptop, but my current laptop is fine.

Hi @inaccessible-int ,

I'm guessing this is for A levels?

I'd say a laptop would be a better choice, purely because there are so many applications and programs a laptop can do that an iPad can't. Its possible that for your subjects you won't need any of these apps or programs, but its always possible that further down the line and after you finish A levels that you might need something else. I bought my laptop when I was in Yr12 and I'm now in 3rd year of Uni (took a gap year too) and it has been doing very well to do most things I've needed to do on it.

On the other hand, if you prefer using the stylus on your iPad and like to complete your work that way, then of course go with an iPad. It really depends on how you like to study and work. A friend of mine makes these brilliant mind maps on his iPad, but I prefer to make mine on pen and paper whilst using my laptop for the majority of my work.

I hope this helps 😀
