What A level subjects are best for economics?
Maths, maybe further maths depending on your ability, economics if offered, maybe an essay subject like history or politics

Hi @Ninglua,

I hope you're keeping well. 🙂

Maths is probably the most important. I'd follow that up with further maths if you're aiming for some top universities like Cambridge or LSE. Other than that, I'd say choose a relevant subject related to economics which interests you / you're good at. Examples: History, Geography, Economics, Accounting, Business, Law, etc. Sorry for a vague answer, but certain alevels might not be offered at all schools, and universities typically understand this (for example I didn't get the chance to choose economics + economics alevel is quite different to economics at uni).

Anyways, I hope this helps. 🙂

Warm regards,

David 🙂
