i need some help

I do biology, psychology and media in sixth form and i am not sure what uni course to do. I want to have job in biotech or in research and
and i want to work abroad preferably the US .I was thinking of doing microbiology and doing my masters in like data science, bioinformatics or biotechnology but to be honest i am just confused. I want do a course where i can have a variety of options to go into . Do you think microbiology would be the best course for this? Also, any suggestions on what I should do my masters in? to be honest I want a Job with a good pay. Please help me.Many thanks

Just be aware that most Biosciences degrees at sensible Unis require A level Chemistry or at least 'another science' A level.

Examples -
BSc Microbiology (2025 entry) | The University of Manchester
BSc Cancer Biology and Immunology | Study at Bristol | University of Bristol
Biotechnology, BSc - Undergraduate degree programme study - School of Biosciences - University of Birmingham

Hey so I’m studying biomedical science also known as biomedicine. One of my very large modules is microbiology which might interest you. Also biomed would be great course for you if you want a science degree which can help you get in to a broad range of things. You can definitely go in to research with it as it is very lab based. I’m sure I have a biotechnology module coming up soon too which is what you said you’re also interested in. And I didn’t need a level chemistry at all for this degree just needed biology I think. Check out biomedical science for sure, you may like it or you might not but it’s best to explore.
