looking for undergrad animation degrees

i'm trying to look for animation degrees and i have not much of a clue where to start :frown: i'd like to aim more for universities around the south east and london if possible. i did love the look of the animation degree at lincoln if that helps! i would just like to balance my options
Hi there, have you considered Kingston University? Located in the outskirts of South-West London along the river thames, Kingston has the perfect balance of natural beauty and city charm! 🥰 Kingston's Illustration Animation BA(hons) has access to an amazing range of 2D and 3D workshop facilities (eg. Dark room, printmaking, metal, wood and ceramics..) and I would highly recommend joining for one of our Open Days to view our amazing open access facilities, speak to current students and tutors 🙂 Hope this helps and feel free to ask me anything about life in Kingston!

For this area you could consider Hertfordshire, also Escape Studios, I think Staffordshire have a London branch now as well (although I've not seen any work from it yet), maybe UAL depending on the type of animation you are interested in? Hertfordshire is ranked the best in the UK by the Rookies Awards:

Best 2D Animation School in Europe and Number Two in the World

Best 3D Animation School in the UK

Best Concept Art School in the UK

Best VFX School in the UK

Number Two in the World for VFX Production Excellence

you can look at all the best animation universities work on this site:

That might help you make some comparisons and guide you as to which are best.
