I'm not contextual to my knowledge the only thing may be state school (which would only affect some unis) and school having a relatively lower progress 8 attainment but I don't know if that qualifies

I did the bhf volunteering for a year and a half (3 1/2 hrs every week) , the mealtime volunteering for 6 months every week from 4:30 to 6:30 so 2 hrs

The reason I ask is you can apply to Sunderland and keele, I know someone who got an offer last year for 2280, but they require a minimum hours work experience, if you are not contextual they need 200 hours and 70 for contextual.

What other ones do you recommend? Either of those I was already considering or others?

All the others will be risky due to ur UCAT score but you can try Bangor and Edge hill, though chances are not great.

Okay, I might put it anyway as I need something for the rest of the choices but at least I'm aware of the risk now, I'm willing to take the chance
Thank you so much for the help

Hi,

So the course only uses a UCAT cut off score if there are too many applicants with what is defined as "excellent" cut off scores. Unfortunately this can't be predicted, as it really just depends on competition each year - its not predetermined either.

If you haven't already, there's this handy document on FAQs of medicine admissions questions that might be helpful.
