You might not meet the entry requirements if you don't have a science undergrad. However, you could take another undergrad in nursing. Nursing is considered an exception course by SFE so your previous study is disregarded and you would be eligible for both tuition fee and maintenance loans.

Use the NHS course finder to research both options:

Hi there 👋,

I would consider speaking to the admissions team at the university you are planning on attending.

Each university offers its own entry requirements but usually for master's degrees, they normally have a requirement of a social science qualification such as health and social care, biology, physics, chemistry or child development.

Take a look at this link, which discusses the nursing masters degrees at Wrexham University: https://wrexham.ac.uk/courses/postgraduate-courses/adult-childrens-or-mental-health-nursing-msc/

Nursing degrees are a mix of placement (clinical) hours and theory. So if you have previous experience in healthcare or nursing specifically it does assist you more with this. However, many people consider doing a masters or a undergraduate degree in subjects that are new to them.

Hope this helps and good luck with your studies!
