TMUA Date help

I am looking to send my UCAS application in October this year and looking to do the TMUA exam in January 2025 for Warwick and LSE and from what I know LSE release decisions within 8 weeks of the application submission.
So if I do the TMUA which is more than 8 weeks after submitting my UCAS application will that mean they reject me as they won't see my results until February 2025?
This is me assuming both LSE and Warwick run on a rolling basis according to Google. Is this true or do they look at all applications after the UCAS deadline?

I’m in the exact same situation as you so I hope someone answers for us.

LSE make is clear here that "You can choose to sit the test in October or January", "Either sitting is acceptable for applicants to LSE..." and "There is no advantage to sitting the test in the first or second sitting."

This clearly means that, LSE cannot "release decisions within 8 weeks of the application submission" - as they wouldn't have the January TMUA results by then.

Warwick tell a similar story here: "...you can choose whether you sit the test in October or January", and "There is no advantage to sitting the test in the first or second sitting."

So relax. Sit the TMUA in October or January - it makes no difference. Submit you UCAS application whenever like, as long as it's prior to the January equal consideration deadline (or the October deadline for Oxbridge).

I’m trying to cancel my TMUA but there is no option to cancel when I go in the website, do I have to contact Pearson?

Have to read the TMUA Rescheduling and Cancelling page? It says:

"Candidates are able to cancel or reschedule their test booking up until 48 hours prior to their scheduled test time, without financial penalty. You can do this via your UAT-UK account on the Pearson VUE site."

If, having logged in, you can't see that facility, then I agree that you should contact Pearson for assistance.

Also I wanted to ask, do I need to put the TMUA as a qualification under the 'Education' section on my UCAS application or my results go straight to the uni without me putting anything there?

That's a good question.

It says here that, "Results will automatically be sent to any TMUA institutions included in your UCAS application." It also says here that, "Only universities on your UCAS application, that are official users of the ESAT or TMUA will have access to your results. Results are released automatically to each participating university."

I can't see how either of those statements can be true unless you list the TMUA as a "pending" qualification in your UCAS application. However, I can find no reference on the UCAS or UAT web sites of a requirement to do so.

It would seem especially important to make universities aware that you're sitting the TMUA if it's optional for them. One such university is Bath. Although they no longer use the TMUA, I can see that back when they used it, their Guide to mathematics tests for undergraduate admissions page said:

"How do we know if you are taking a Mathematics admissions test?

If you have decided to take either the MAT or TMUA, you should declare it in the ‘pending qualifications’ section of your UCAS application.

If you do not list MAT or TMUA on your UCAS application, we will assume that you are not taking them and any offer we make will be based on STEP or AEA."

I conclude from this that you should include it as a pending qualification, but I'm not 100% sure.
Once you send in your application LSE will send you a form asking whether or not you’ll be doing the tmua and they’ll ask for what sitting you’ll be doing it in, so they will know whether or not youll do the tmua even if it’s in january.
