Is it too late to go through clearing now?

Hello,
I am a mature student and due to a few personal issues popping up earlier this year, I was planning to apply for university in the next cycle. However, I have changed my mind and the course I want to apply for is still open for clearing. It is not highly competitive and I already have my A-level grades. Is it worth at this point for me to apply? I am not sure how student finance will work out etc.
I’m sorry but I believe it is too late for most uni’s to go through clearing. There may be 1 or 2 that let you start late, but most Uni’s are well into their first few weeks now

Although your course is still available, if term has started you will have missed some content and all the introductory sessions. And would you need accommodation? Student finance applications (SFE) are currently taking a minimum of three weeks to process:

Hi there!

If your course is available through clearing and your chosen university is still taking clearing applications then it is not too late! Most universities have started teaching now so you will have missed the first few introductory sessions but you will be able to catch up before you get too far behind.

You will still need to apply for student finance and as already said, are taking a minimum of three weeks. I would recommend talking to the university that you want to apply for and see when the deadline for tuition fee's is and whether they would accept the payment when your application has been approved.

I hope this helps 😀
